non birthing parent workshop
01 / connection
02 / education
03 / support
Are you a non birthing parent or about to become one? Join us for an evening parenting group of sorts, made just for you (finally).
Wanting to find your parent community, but don't quite relate to traditional mothers' groups because you didn't carry or give birth? But dads' groups don't quite fit either? Well it’s because your experience of becoming a parent is usually different to both of those.
Wondering how to bond with your baby? Where you fit during pregnancy? How to support your partner without forgetting about yourself? Or how to navigate being the biological parent when everyone assumes you're not? Maybe you just want to meet others in a similar boat. Welcome aboard.
We'll have a mix of evidence based guided discussions, psychoeducation, shared lived experiences and a activities to foster connection. There'll be plenty of time to enjoy some good food, meet other non birthing parents and hopefully make a few new friends along the way.
