Same Wellness is a queer led healthcare clinic on the Gold Coast, also offering Telehealth Australia wide. We were created from lived experience and a belief that healthcare can feel a whole lot better.
After navigating fertility treatment ourselves, searching for inclusive clinicians and piecing together care across too many places, we knew there had to be a better way.
We believe healthcare can be bold, challenge the traditional way of doing things and look at the whole person because people don’t fit neatly into boxes, and their healthcare shouldn’t expect them to.
Same is for everyone, and our team has been intentionally built around practitioners who are LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent affirming, trauma informed and, importantly, evidence based. Many of our practitioners also bring lived experience to the work they do, because really, being truly understood can sometimes make all the difference.
We aren’t afraid to do things differently and we want to stand up for the people who have ever felt misunderstood, overlooked or like healthcare simply wasn’t built with them in mind. Most importantly, Same is a place where you don’t need to explain or hide parts of yourself to receive the care you deserve.

Rochelle & Maddy x
As a Qualified Paramedic, Rochelle has spent over a decade caring for people on their hardest days, witnessing what support looks like when it’s done well, and what’s missing when it isn’t.
After navigating her own fertility journey with her fiancée and Same co-founder, Maddy, she became pretty determined to create the kind of healthcare experience that didn't exist. Turns out, it is possible to create a healthcare space that’s inclusive, where your emails actually get replied to, you feel heard, and the space itself feels pretty damn good to walk into.
Rochelle is the big idea person behind Same. She’s rarely short of a new idea (Maddy can confirm) and is slightly obsessed with making healthcare better for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Outside of Same, Rochelle is usually wrangling their two small humans, working on the road as a Paramedic, hunting down really good food or booking a spontaneous holiday that sends her homebody family into a spiral.
Meet rochelle.
Maddy is a Qualified Firefighter, former Dental Nurse, co-founder of Same Wellness and resident fixer of anything that breaks.
After years working on the frontline, she knows a thing or two about keeping people safe, staying calm when things go sideways, and caring for people when they need it most.
Maddy also knows the fertility world very personally. She carried both of her and Rochelle’s little ones, after navigating fertility treatment together, an experience that played a pretty big part in why Same exists today.
At Same, Maddy is the practical creative behind the scenes, the one with an eye for colours, interiors and all the little details that make a space feel good. Maddy somehow always figures out how to make the impossible happen.
Outside of Same, you’ll usually find her putting out fires, wrangling two small humans, fixing something around the house, or being the sounding board for Rochelle’s next big project.
